New Oregon State Record Non-Typical Elk

Delwyn Hendrickson harvested the pending new Oregon State Record Rocky Mountain Elk in 2015 the 11 x 9 bull green scored 434 gross and 423 final.  It will be scored again after the sixty-day air dry period to make it official.  The past state record was the "Taft" bull he measured 411 0/8 B.C.and was killed in a fight with another bull at Wallowa Lake in 1930.  Thsi Umatilla County bull will be featured in the Tour of the Northwest's Big Game Animals in 2016.  Check out the 2016 Tour Schedule.
