2010 Black Powder Bull
I located some fresh elk tracks on the second day of my hunt and came upon a herd of about a dozen elk in a pole patch about 150 yards away. I watched them for a few minutes and eased over to the edge of the tree line to get closer but as I did that they started coming right toward me! I took cover behind a fallen over tree and waited for my shot! The elk passed by me at 20 yards and this brute was the third one I picked my opening and waited for him to appear. One shot out of my .50cal. T/C Black Diamond nosedived him to the ground. What an awesome hunt! November 14 2010 will be remembered forever! Should make the book!
